ROTTEN MARKETPLACE — RETURN & REFUND POLICY

OVERVIEW

At Rotten Marketplace, we want you to be satisfied with every purchase. Because we source products internationally, please read this policy carefully before ordering.


RETURN ELIGIBILITY

You may request a return within 14 days of confirmed delivery if:

  • The item arrived damaged, broken, or defective
  • The item is significantly different from the listing description or photos
  • The wrong item was sent to you
  • The package arrived empty or with missing components

The following items are NOT eligible for return:

  • Items returned after the 14-day window
  • Items that have been used, worn, washed, or altered
  • Items damaged due to buyer misuse or negligence
  • Perishable or hygiene-related products (once opened)
  • Items marked "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" on the listing
  • Digital or downloadable products

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection. If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


EXCHANGES

We only replace items that are defective or damaged upon arrival. Contact us within 14 days with photos and we will ship a replacement at no charge if approved.


HOW TO START A RETURN

  1. Email us at returns@rottenmarketplace.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. Include clear photos of the item and any damage or defect
  3. Wait for a Return Authorization (RA) number — do NOT ship items back without one
  4. Ship the item back using a trackable method
  5. Once received and inspected, your refund or exchange will be processed

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error.


LOST OR UNDELIVERED PACKAGES

If tracking shows "Delivered" but you did not receive your package, please wait 3 business days and check with neighbors or nearby pickup locations. If still missing after 5 business days, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier.


INTERNATIONAL PRODUCT NOTICE

Many Rotten Marketplace products are sourced internationally. Shipping may take 7–21 business days. Minor variations in color or packaging may occur. Import duties or customs fees, if applicable, are the buyer's responsibility.
